Wine tasting at Vindemia Winery is a must! Vindemia Winery is a fantastic gem in Southern California’s Temecula Valley. Their tagline reads, “venture down a road less taken…”, and after enjoying an afternoon at the vineyard, I would say yes! Definitely venture down that road. 🙂 So, let’s dive on in, shall we?
Wine Tasting at Vindemia Vineyard and Winery
About Vindemia Winery
33133 Vista Del Monte Road
Temecula, CA 92591
Vindemia Winery is a boutique vineyard with an outdoor wine tasting room. I must say, the views of Temecula Valley take the entire wine tasting experience up a notch. The winery could easily be missed because it’s located down a side street off the main drag (Rancho California Road). I personally loved the location of Vindemia Winery! It’s perched up on a hillside and offers the most gorgeous views over Temecula Valley.
Wine Tasting at Vindemia Winery
The wine tasting experience at Vindemia Winery was amazing! The tasting menu is priced at $20 for 5 tastings, and includes complimentary bread and olive oil (lovely touch!). The wine pourers are extremely knowledgeable about the wines and can provide great recommendations for food pairings. The estate also sells its own olive oil, but it’s only available at certain times of the year.
Vindemia Winery Flagship Wine
Be sure not to miss Vindemia Winery’s flagship wine, a Zinfandel called More Cowbell. The name (inspired by a Saturday Night Live skit) is extremely popular and synonymous with the winery. So taste it if you can! Because of More Cowbell’s popularity, it has a tendency of selling out. What can I say, good wine speaks for itself. ?
Afterwards feel free to mingle in the tasting room, or enjoy your wine with some amazing views in the outdoor seating area.
Explore Vindemia Winery’s Vineyard
Since Vindemia Winery grows and harvests their own grapes, I would recommend venturing out to the vineyards. I loved being able to walk through rows and rows of beautiful vines. I also snuck a peek of these cute little Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in the making!
I visited Vindemia Vineyard and Winery as a guest, who I cannot thank enough for an amazing and wonderful wine tasting experience!
